SWT UF-7,5 ultrafiltration unit - (up to 7.5 m3/h)

The SWT UF-7,5 is an industrial ultrafiltration unit with a capacity of 7 500 l/h. PAN hollow-fiber membranes operate in inside-out mode: the water loses turbidity and color, colloids and organics are removed from it, the stream is sterilized, and the salt composition stays unchanged. The unit replaces settling and microfiltration and is used as pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis, for polishing treatment of wastewater, and in recirculating water supply systems.

In the SWT UF range, this is the second most productive model after the UF-10. It has four modules — the same as the UF-5 — but a larger total membrane area: 82.2 m² compared to 54.8 m². The flush flow rate is 0.75 m³/h; for the UF-5 it is 0.5 m³/h, and for the senior UF-10 it is 1.0 m³/h. The connection sizes are the same as the UF-5's: inlet and flush line G1½, outlet G1¼; a G2 inlet is found only on the UF-10. Dimensions of 1250x1030x2030 mm match the UF-10 and are taller than the 1870 mm of the UF-5 and UF-2,5; weight — 190 kg.

The filtration cycles and forward and backward flushing are managed by a controller, which also shuts the unit down if the pressure exceeds 0.3 MPa. Working pressure is 0.1 MPa, water temperature 5–40°C, working pH 3–9. Chemical regeneration with CIP/CEB acid, alkali, and hypochlorite at a pH of 2–12 is provided for removing deposits. Installation is in a heated room at 5–35°C and humidity ≤75%, with access from 1000 mm. Service life is 10 years or more.
