SWT UF-10 ultrafiltration unit - (up to 10 m3/h)

The SWT UF-10 is an industrial ultrafiltration unit with a capacity of 10 000 l/h. PAN hollow-fiber membranes operate in inside-out filtration mode: the unit reduces turbidity and color, removes colloids and organics, sterilizes the water, and does not change its salt composition. It replaces settling and microfiltration; typical tasks are pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis, polishing treatment of wastewater, and recirculating water supply.

This is the senior model in the SWT UF range. It has 6 membrane modules with a total area of 100 m², while the UF-7,5 and UF-5 have 4 each (82.2 and 54.8 m²), and the UF-2,5 has 2 modules at 27.4 m². The flush flow rate is correspondingly higher too: 1.0 m³/h compared to 0.75 m³/h for the UF-7,5. The piping is larger as well: the raw water inlet, together with the flush line, is sized G2, while for the UF-7,5 and UF-5 it is G1½; the outlet is G1¼ for every model in the range. Dimensions of 1250x1030x2030 mm match the UF-7,5, weight — 160 kg.

The controller manages the filtration, forward and backward flushing modes; if the pressure exceeds 0.3 MPa, the unit shuts down automatically. Working pressure is 0.1 MPa, water temperature 5–40°C, operating pH range 3–9. Deposits are removed by CIP/CEB chemical regeneration with acid, alkali, and hypochlorite — a pH of 2–12 is allowed in these modes. Installation requires a heated room with a temperature of 5–35°C, humidity ≤75%, and service access from 1000 mm. Service life is 10 years or more.
