SWT UF-2,5 ultrafiltration unit - (up to 2.5 m3/h)

The SWT UF-2,5 is an ultrafiltration unit with a capacity of 2 500 l/h. Purification takes place on PAN hollow-fiber membranes in inside-out mode: turbidity and color are reduced, colloidal particles and organics are removed, the water is sterilized, while its salt composition does not change. This treatment applies where water needs to be clarified and disinfected while preserving its mineral composition.

This is the junior model in the SWT UF range: two membrane modules with a total area of 27.4 m², while the UF-5 has four at 54.8 m², the UF-7,5 has four at 82.2 m², and the senior UF-10 has six at 100 m². Hence also the smallest flush water flow rate in the range — 0.25 m³/h. The frame dimensions of 1250x1030x1870 mm match the UF-5 and are lower than the UF-7,5's and UF-10's height of 2030 mm; dry weight — 90 kg.

The controller manages the filtration modes and forward and backward flushing; if the pressure exceeds 0.3 MPa, the system shuts down. Optimal working pressure is 0.1 MPa, water temperature 5–40°C, operating pH range 3–9. Chemical regeneration is provided for removing organics, biofilms, and metal deposits: alkaline with sodium hypochlorite and acidic with citric acid, with a pH of 2–12 allowed in these modes. Installation is in a heated room at 5–35°C and humidity ≤75%, with service access of at least 1000 mm on the sides and 200 mm above.
