This page explains what data swt.ge collects about you, why we need it, who we pass it to and how to have it erased. We keep it to a minimum: almost everything you see on the site works without any data about you at all.
Who processes your data
swt.ge is operated by Solvia Water Technologies. We design, supply and service water and wastewater treatment equipment in Georgia.

Three main paths start with something you do — an enquiry, an order and your consent to statistics. Some things arrive on their own: opening any page brings us the technical details of the request, including the code of your country. Those are covered in the Cookies section and in the one about whom we pass data to.
Enquiry form — Your name, phone number and a description of the task, plus the page the enquiry was sent from, the language of that page and the product, if you pressed “Request price” on its card. We need them to call you back and prepare a quote; the page, the language and the product let the engineer see what you mean and reply in your language. The sender’s IP address is used only to limit the flow of spam: it is not kept in the enquiry database, and it reaches the server’s technical log only when the limit has been hit. If our defence against automated submissions is triggered, the submitted name also reaches the server’s technical log — this lets us tell a false trigger (a real visitor) apart from a bot.
Placing an order — Your name, phone number, e-mail and delivery address, and for a company also its name and identification number. We need them to process the order, issue an invoice and deliver the equipment. The identification number is requested from companies only and only for the invoice; together with the company name it reaches our manager in Telegram — see the next section.
Visit statistics — Information about which pages you opened, where you came to the site from and which key actions you took: tapping the phone number or a messenger button, sending an enquiry, adding an item to the cart, placing an order. For an order this includes its number, total and contents, adding an item to the cart also sends its name, SKU, price and quantity, and an enquiry also sends the page it was sent from and the product name if you sent it from a product card. Your name, phone number and address are not passed to the statistics, but the counter does tell you apart from other visitors by its own cookie, and Google Analytics itself additionally detects your device type, browser and approximate location from your IP address. All of it is collected by Google Analytics and only after you press “Accept” in the cookie notice. Until you agree, the counter is not loaded at all.
Cookies
Cookies are small records a site keeps in your browser. Not one of them is for advertising: four are needed by the site itself, and the rest are set by the visit counter — and only if you agreed to it.
cart_id — Remembers your cart between pages and visits; erased once the order is placed · 30 days
locale-choice — Remembers the site language you chose yourself · 1 year
geo-locale — Holds the language worth suggesting — based on the country you are visiting from, or your browser language if the country is not known; the hint at the bottom of the screen reads it · until you close the browser
analytics-consent — Remembers your answer about analytics cookies · 1 year
_ga — Tells visitors apart in the statistics. It and the paired “_ga_…” are set by Google — only after you have agreed · up to 2 years
Who we pass data to
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to advertisers. Data reaches only the services the site cannot work without.
Telegram — A notification about a new enquiry or an order reaches our manager in Telegram: the name, phone number, the page and language the enquiry was sent from, the product with a link to its card — if the enquiry was sent from it, and the text of the task if you gave one, and for an order also the e-mail address, delivery address, contents and total, and for a company its name and identification number. It is an internal notification to our manager, not a publication.
Google Analytics — Statistics of visits and of actions taken on the site — without your name, phone number or address. Loaded only after you have agreed.
Google Maps — The Contacts and About pages can show a Google map, but it does not load by default — there is a “Show map” button instead. Only once you press that button does a request reach Google, and at that moment it sees your IP address and browser details, the same as when you open its maps yourself.
Cloudflare — Carries the site traffic and serves the images. It sees the technical details of the request — IP address and browser type — without which the site would not open at all. It also tells us the country you are visiting from, which is how we know which language to suggest.
How long we keep data
Enquiries and orders — while we are working with you and for as long as accounting requires.
Cookies — for the periods listed in the section above; you can erase them in your browser at any time.
Visit statistics — for the retention period Google Analytics applies by default.
Your rights
You may ask what data of yours we hold, ask us to correct or erase it, and withdraw your consent to analytics. Write or call us through any channel in the first section — we reply during working hours.

Changes to this policy
If we start collecting anything else or connect a new service, we will update this page and the date below it. We cannot notify every visitor separately — we run no mailing list.
