SWT UF-15 ultrafiltration unit - (up to 15 m3/h)

The SWT UF-15 is an ultrafiltration unit with a capacity of up to 15 m³/h for tasks where undissolved impurities need to be removed from water without changing its salt composition. The flow is separated at a porous membrane element under a pressure of 0.2 to 0.4 MPa: the driving force of the process is the pressure difference across the membrane, which overcomes the friction and interaction forces between the liquid and the membrane surface. The filtration fineness is 0.1 to 0.01 μm, so suspended solids, fats, non-dissolved petroleum products, proteins, and large bacteria are removed from the water, while the salt composition stays unchanged.

In the SWT UF range, the models are arranged by capacity, and the UF-15 is the junior one among them: next come the UF-20, UF-30, UF-40, UF-50, and UF-60, up to 60 m³/h. It is also the lightest among the nearby models in the range — 160 kg, while the UF-20 weighs 400 kg and the UF-30 weighs 450 kg.

Purified water is supplied to the consumer, while the concentrate is discharged to drain; its volume is 10-20% of the feed water flow and depends on the quality of the source water and the requirements for the purified water. Typical application areas are standalone water supply for cottages, municipal water treatment, and process water preparation.
