SWT UF-40 ultrafiltration unit - (up to 40 m3/h)

The SWT UF-40 is an ultrafiltration unit with a capacity of up to 40 m³/h. The flow is separated into purified and concentrated fractions at a porous membrane element under a pressure of 0.2 to 0.4 MPa. The membrane retains colloidal contaminants: suspended solids, fats, non-dissolved petroleum products, proteins, large bacteria. The filtration fineness is 0.1 to 0.01 μm, and the salt composition of the water does not change, so the unit is chosen where turbidity, organics, and colloids need to be removed, not mineralization reduced.

In the SWT UF lineup, which spans a flow of 15 to 60 m³/h, this model sits in the middle of the range: it is more productive than the UF-15, UF-20, and UF-30, and falls short of the senior UF-50 and UF-60. Weight is 550 kg, less than the UF-50 and UF-60 (650 kg each), which is worth taking into account when choosing a site and calculating support structures.

Purified water is supplied to the consumer, and the concentrate flows into drain. Its volume is 10-20% of the feed water flow and depends on the quality of the source water and the requirements for the purified water — this flow is factored into the calculation of the supply unit and the drain line. Typical tasks: water treatment for cottages under standalone water supply, municipal water treatment, process water preparation.
