Aquaphor WS500 system

Aquaphor WS500 is a compact cabinet system for a private house that combines softening and iron removal. It removes hardness salts up to 24 mg-eq/l, dissolved iron and manganese combined up to 10 mg/l (manganese up to 3 mg/l), and works with water from a well, a dug well, or the mains at pH 6 to 9 and a temperature of 5°–38°. Working capacity is 23 l/min (1.4 m³/h), maximum is 35 l/min (2.1 m³/h), up to 3 taps.

In the WS line, this is the entry model: WS800 and WS1000 are built for higher draw, while WS500 is sized for a family of 1–3. The base design has no P1 index. Dimensions are 37 × 47 × 56 cm at a gross weight of 35 kg, with a footprint of 32.2 × 43.2 cm.

The controller determines regeneration timing from the built-in flow meter rather than a timer; three modes are available — NE (0.8 kg of salt and 43 l of water, 15 min), NC (2.1 / 58, 22 min), and AU (3.3 / 65, 28 min); the flush uses softened water. Maximum flow to drain — 9.1 l/min, there is no surge discharge, so the system is compatible with septic systems. Power supply 12 VAC, 15 W/h; 1″ (MNPT) ports, a flexible connector and a 2.5 m drain tube are included.
