Aquaphor WS500 P1 system

An ultra-compact 3-in-1 filtration system for softening and iron removal of water. It removes hardness salts up to 24 mg-eq/l, iron and manganese combined up to 10 mg/l, manganese up to 3 mg/l, and hydrogen sulfide up to 1 mg/l. Working capacity 23 l/min (1.4 m3/h), maximum 35 l/min (2.1 m3/h) — up to 3 taps at once. Selection and setup require a laboratory analysis of the source water.

This is the most compact and most economical model in the range: 37 x 47 x 56 cm and 35 kg versus 41 x 50 x 80 cm and 48 kg for the thousand group, and regeneration uses 0.8 kg of salt and 43 l of water over 15 minutes versus 1.4 kg, 70 l, and 27 minutes for WS1000. The price of compactness is lower limits: 24 mg-eq/l for hardness and 10 mg/l for iron with manganese. At the same time, it does remove hydrogen sulfide — like WS1000 P1, but unlike the base designs without an index.

The tank design and fine resin granules provide quiet operation and four times lower salt and water use than column-type softeners. Regeneration timing is determined by an intelligent algorithm from the built-in water meter; besides the economy mode, 2.1 kg / 58 l over 22 minutes and 3.3 kg / 65 l over 28 minutes modes are available. The media needs no replacement, service life is 10 years; power supply 12 VAC, 1" ports.
