Aquaphor WS800 P1 system (A800 P1, S800 P1)

The Aquaphor WS800 P1 (A800 P1, S800 P1) complex system softens water down to 28 mg-eq/l, removes dissolved iron and manganese combined up to 12 mg/l (manganese up to 5 mg/l), and hydrogen sulfide up to 1 mg/l: KDF 85 material in the filter media handles the hydrogen sulfide. Working/maximum capacity — 25 / 38 l/min, 1.5 / 2.3 m3/h, up to 4 taps; permissible source-water pH is 6 to 9.

In the WS500 — WS800 — WS1000 range, this is the middle size: 41 x 50 x 71 cm on a 40.4 x 48.5 cm base, gross weight 43 kg, a cabinet housing made of thick-walled reinforced polymer. Salt and water use for regeneration is four times lower than for classic column-type softeners: from 1.0 kg and 66 l in NE mode to 5.4 kg and 110 l in AU mode. The media needs no replacement; service life is 10 years.

The controller determines regeneration timing from the built-in flow meter rather than a calendar; the cycle takes 23 to 44 min depending on the mode. Power supply 12 VAC; 50/60 Hz; 15 W/h, 1" (MNPT) ports, drain via a D=16 mm (5/8") tube with discharge up to 9.1 l/min; backwash requires a flow of at least 7.6 l/min. Selecting and setting up the softener requires a laboratory water analysis.
