Aquaphor WS1000 A system

A compact, quiet 3-in-1 filtration system for softening and iron removal, additionally rated for organic impurities — humic and fulvic acids. Influent limits: hardness up to 24 mg-eq/l, iron and manganese combined up to 5 mg/l, manganese up to 3 mg/l, permanganate oxidizability up to 10 mg O2/l. Working capacity 25 l/min (1.5 m3/h), maximum 38 l/min (2.3 m3/h) — up to 4 taps at once. Suitable for a well, a dug well, or the mains, for a family of up to 5.

This is the only model in the range that works with organics. The 41 x 50 x 80 cm housing and 48 kg weight are shared with WS1000 and WS1000 P1, but the flow is lower — 25 versus 30 l/min, four taps versus five — as are the contamination limits: 24 mg-eq/l for hardness versus 34, and 5 mg/l for iron with manganese versus 14. Unlike the P1-index versions, it does not remove hydrogen sulfide.

Regeneration is scheduled by the built-in flow meter: the economy mode is 1.0 kg of salt and 66 l of water over 23 minutes, the medium mode — 3.0 kg and 90 l over 33 minutes, the boosted mode — 5.4 kg and 110 l over 44 minutes. There is no surge discharge to drain, so the system works with any septic system. The resin is fixed between the screens, fills the entire tank volume, and needs no replacement; service life is 10 years. Power supply 12 VAC, 1" ports.
