UV sterilizer STERILIZER - UV72GPM - 2" (up to 16 m3/h), PHILIPS lamps

The STERILIZER UV72GPM UV sterilizer disinfects water with ultraviolet radiation: the flow passes through a stainless steel SS304 chamber, where six PHILIPS lamps in quartz sleeves create a dose of 30 mW·s/cm². Capacity — up to 16 m³/h with 2″ HP connections; the model is designed for large cottages, pools, and facilities.

In the STERILIZER series, this is the senior model with a 2″ connection: the neighboring UV60GPM, with the same 168×885 mm housing, carries five lamps, 200 W, and up to 12 m³/h, while the next tier, UV84GPM, moves up to 3″ connections and a 220×846 mm chamber. The sixth lamp raises power consumption to 240 W, while the radiation dose is the same across the whole series — the flow margin comes from the number of lamps.

The chamber withstands pressure up to 6 bar and water temperature +2…+45 °C, power supply — 220V, 50–60 Hz. Each lamp has its own power supply unit with indication, so a failure is noticed immediately. Wall mounting, vertical or horizontal, with about 1 m of clearance along the housing axis for replacing the lamps; grounding is done with a copper conductor with a cross-section of at least 1 mm². The quartz sleeves are cleaned every 1–3 months, the lamps have a service life of 9000 h and are replaced only while wearing cotton gloves. The lamps must not be switched on outside the housing or without water in the chamber, and running lamps must not be looked at.
