UV disinfection up to 1.8 m³/h, PHILIPS lamp 25 W, 1″ connections
The STERILIZER UV6GPM ultraviolet sterilizer disinfects drinking water with radiation in the 250–260 nm range at a flow of up to 1.8 m³/h. The chamber is made of food-grade stainless steel SS304, with one quartz sleeve inside holding a 25 W PHILIPS lamp, radiation dose — 30 mW·s/cm². No chemicals are used, and the taste of the water does not change. Connections 1″ HP, maximum pressure 6 bar (6 atm), water temperature +2…+45 °C. Intended for a home, a summer house, a café.
In the STERILIZER series, this is the most junior model: the lowest capacity and consumption, with just one lamp. Its 590 mm housing is the shortest in the lineup — every other model is 885 or 846 mm long. The closest neighbor, UV12GPM, has the same 63.5 mm diameter and the same single lamp, but an 885 mm housing, 40 W power, and a capacity of up to 2.5 m³/h.
Mounting is on the wall, vertical or horizontal; about a meter of free space is left at the end face for replacing the lamp. The quartz sleeve is cleaned every 1–3 months, the lamp's service life is 9000 h, roughly 12 months of operation. The lamp is replaced only while wearing cotton gloves, and the housing is grounded with a copper conductor with a cross-section of at least 1 mm². The lamp must not be switched on outside the housing, and power must not be applied to the chamber without water; the running lamp must not be looked at. The power supply unit has indication: green — normal, red — fault.
