UV sterilizer STERILIZER - UV96GPM - 3" (up to 24 m3/h), PHILIPS lamps

The STERILIZER UV96GPM UV sterilizer is rated for a flow of up to 24 m³/h and disinfects water with ultraviolet in flow-through mode. Eight PHILIPS lamps in quartz sleeves work inside the stainless steel SS304 chamber, radiation dose — 30 mW·s/cm², connection — 3″ HP connections. The model is chosen for large sites, pools, and facilities.

Among the series models with a 3″ connection and a 220×846 mm chamber, this one is the senior: the UV84GPM, with the same dimensions, has seven lamps, 280 W, and up to 20 m³/h, while the UV96GPM has eight lamps and 320 W. Further along the catalog come the UV108GPM with nine lamps and the UV120GPM with ten, but they already have a different housing — 274×846 mm. The radiation dose is the same across the whole series; only the throughput increases.

The chamber is rated for pressure up to 6 bar and water temperature +2…+45 °C, power supply — 220V, 50–60 Hz; each lamp has a separate power supply unit with indication. Wall mounting, vertical or horizontal, with about 1 m of clearance along the housing axis, otherwise a lamp cannot be removed; grounding is done with a copper conductor with a cross-section of at least 1 mm². The quartz sleeves are cleaned every 1–3 months, the lamps have a service life of 9000 h and are replaced while wearing cotton gloves. The lamps must not be switched on outside the housing or without water in the chamber, and they must not be looked at while running.
