UV sterilizer DUV-5A500-N MAT23

The DUV-5A500-N MAT23 UV sterilizer is the top designation in the A500 size, a unit for reagent-free disinfection of large water flows. Like the other models in the MASTER series, it is equipped with a UV intensity control system and a chemical flush unit. Throughput depends on water transparency: 210 m³/h at T=85%, and at T=70% — 116 m³/h on drinking water and 73 m³/h on wastewater. The connection is flanged, DN 200.

In the A500 range, it ranks above the DUV-3A500-N MAT23 (143 m³/h at T=85%, 1600 W, DN 150) and the DUV-2A500-N MAT23 (82 m³/h, 1100 W, DN 100). At the same time, its rated flow rates, 2000 W power, and DN 200 connection size match the DUV-4A500-N MAT23: on paper the only difference is weight — 212 kg for this model against 205 kg for the DUV-4A500-N. If the difference between the two top-tier units is critical for a project, it should be verified separately.

Operation is built around a control panel with a touch panel and a Russian interface: it shows and sets all the unit's parameters and supports remote control and inclusion in SCADA. Starting the chemical flush while the lamps are running is blocked. Lamp power can optionally be regulated by an external control signal. The lamps are amalgam type, with a service life of 12 000—16 000 h.
