UV sterilizer, 143 m³/h at T=85%, 1600 W, DN 150 flange
The DUV-3A500-N MAT23 UV sterilizer disinfects water in the flow at large water treatment and sewage facilities without changing its chemical composition. The MASTER series unit carries a UV intensity control system and a chemical flush unit. Flow rates are tied to water transparency: 143 m³/h at T=85%, and at T=70% — 83 m³/h on drinking water and 52 m³/h on wastewater. The connection is flanged, DN 150.
Within the A500 size, this is the first model to move to a DN 150 flange: the DUV-1A500-N and DUV-2A500-N have a DN 100 connection, while the higher-tier DUV-4A500-N and DUV-5A500-N have DN 200. By capacity it sits between them: 143 m³/h at T=85% against 82 m³/h for the DUV-2A500-N MAT23 and 210 m³/h for the DUV-4A500-N MAT23. Power consumption of 1600 W is higher than the 1300 W of the DUV-2A700-N MAT23 and lower than the 2000 W of the higher-tier models in the range.
The operator works with the unit through a control panel with a touch panel and a Russian interface: it displays and sets all parameters and provides remote control and a SCADA output. Starting the chemical flush from the control panel is blocked while the lamps are running, so the modes cannot be mixed up. Lamp power can optionally be regulated by an external control signal. The lamps are amalgam type, with a service life of 12 000—16 000 h.
