SWT ROS-2 (4040/60 bar) - seawater reverse osmosis unit with pump

SWT ROS-2 is a reverse osmosis unit for seawater, built on membrane elements of size 4040 and rated for a pressure of 60 bar; the pump is included in the unit. The system is designed for polishing treatment of domestic drinking water, as well as natural water. It provides a significant reduction of the total mineralization of the raw water — including hardness salts, heavy metals, fluorides, nitrates and ammonium — as well as organic substances, bacteria and viruses, and allows the water quality to be brought to the required standards.

In the series, ROS-2 is the junior model by membrane element size: the neighboring SWT ROS-4 is built on 8040 elements, that is, membranes of larger diameter, and covers the upper part of the capacity range, while ROS-2 on 4040 elements covers the lower part. Operating pressure is the same for both models, 60 bar, the application is also the same — seawater, and both come with a pump. The choice between them comes down to the required permeate flow rate, not the purification level: the composition of removed impurities is the same across the models in the series.
