Seawater desalination 1000 l/h, 8 membranes 4040, up to 99.7%
The ROS-1000L reverse osmosis unit is designed for deep purification and desalination of seawater and wastewater with purification up to 99.7%. The permeate is used as drinking water or directed to process needs. Desalination runs under high pressure — up to 6.0 MPa, the typical conversion rate for marine-type groundwater and surface water is up to 50%.
This is the senior model in the range: eight membrane elements of size 4040 and a rated 1000 l/h. The series step is one element and 125 l/h, so ROS-1000L has twice the capacity of ROS-500L, three times that of ROS-375L, and outperforms the nearest ROS-875L by 125 l/h; there are no models higher in the 4040 range. The membrane elements are assembled into fiberglass modules 1000psi in single-, double- and triple-position designs.
The process is fully automated: a freely programmable controller allows parameters to be changed and displays data. The equipment is mounted on a stainless steel frame and fitted with a high-pressure pump. Commissioning and maintenance require qualified personnel. At the customer's request, the unit is fitted with additional equipment, including in a block-modular design.
