Seawater desalination 250 l/h, 2 membrane elements 4040
The ROS-250L reverse osmosis unit is designed for desalination and deep purification of seawater and wastewater — purification up to 99.7%, the permeate is suitable both as drinking water and for process operations. Desalination runs under pressure up to 6.0 MPa; the typical conversion rate for marine-type groundwater and surface water — up to 50%.
Two membrane elements of size 4040 give a rated 250 l/h. This is the second step of the range: twice that of the single-section ROS-125L, and one and a half times less than ROS-375L; the difference against the senior ROS-1000L with its eight elements is fourfold. The elements are housed in fiberglass membrane modules 1000psi, which in the series are produced in single-, double- and triple-position versions.
The process is fully automated: a freely programmable controller lets operating parameters be changed and shows data on the display. The high-pressure pump and the rest of the equipment are mounted on a stainless steel frame. Only qualified personnel are permitted to carry out commissioning and maintenance. At the customer's request, the unit is fitted with additional equipment, including in a block-modular design.
