SWT ROB 6 reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump (up to 6 m3/h)

The SWT ROB 6 industrial reverse osmosis unit is intended for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as for effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5% — the permeate is used for drinking or process needs. Rated capacity is 6 m³/h (6000 l/h). The typical conversion rate for fresh-type groundwater and surface water is from 50% to 65%.

This model is built on the three-element 8320-series housing and opens the group of large units in the ROB line-up: the 3700×1000×1800 mm frame and the 2" raw water inlet appear here for the first time — models up to 4.5 m³/h have a 2700×950×1800 mm or 1700×800×1800 mm frame and a 1½" inlet. Of the three models on the large frame, ROB 6 is the lightest: 630 kg / 860 kg versus 720 kg / 950 kg for ROB 7.5 and 950 kg / 1000 kg for ROB 11,25. The pump not exceeding 15 kW and the three CF cartridges in the pre-treatment are the same for ROB 6 and ROB 7.5; a step above, ROB 11.25 has a pump not exceeding 18.5 kW, 2½" connections, and four cartridges.

In operating mode the unit draws 9-11 m³/h of raw water, and membrane flushing requires up to 11 m³/h — the supply line and concentrate discharge point are sized to these figures. Mechanical pre-treatment uses CF cartridges, concentrate outlet 2", permeate outlet 1½".
