SWT ROB-500L (3/4040) reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump

SWT ROB-500L is a commercial reverse osmosis unit for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as for effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5 %; the permeate is used for drinking or process needs. The typical conversion rate is up to 65% for brackish-type groundwater and surface water and up to 85% for fresh water. Rated capacity is 500 l/h, with a raw water flow rate in operating mode not exceeding 900 l/h.

In the series line-up, this is the second step: three 4040 membranes give 500 l/h — one and a half times more than ROB-350L, and half as much as ROB-1000L. It does not differ from the smaller model ROB-500L in dimensions 690×670×1650 mm, pump power 2.2 kW, or connections — water inlet and concentrate outlet G ¾, permeate outlet G ½; the increase comes from the membranes, and the dry weight grows from 90 to 120 kg. This is the last model in the series with a BB10 mechanical cleaning cartridge: ROB-700L and larger use BB20, and models from 1000 l/h upward have a 3 kW pump and a G1 inlet.

The unit operates at pressures up to 2.0 MPa and is fully automated: a controller with indication shuts it down on pressure and conductivity faults, and the pump is protected against dry running. Membrane cleaning is done through separate CIP wash inlet and outlet G ½; the flushing flow rate is not more than 4000 l/h.
