SWT ROB-700L (4/4040) reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump

SWT ROB-700L is a reverse osmosis unit for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as for effluent treatment: purification degree up to 99.5 %, permeate suitable as drinking water or for process needs. The typical conversion rate is up to 65% for brackish-type groundwater and surface water and up to 85% for fresh water. Rated capacity is 700 l/h, with a raw water flow rate in operating mode not exceeding 1360 l/h.

Four 4040 membranes make this model more productive than both ROB-350L and ROB-500L, but the pump stays the same — 2.2 kW versus 3 kW for models from 1000 l/h upward. With ROB-700L, the series switches to the BB20 mechanical cartridge instead of the BB10 used in the smaller models, and the frame becomes deeper: 690×800×1650 mm versus 690×670×1650 mm for ROB-350L and ROB-500L, with a dry weight of 140 kg. The connections, however, are the same as in the smaller models: water inlet and concentrate outlet G ¾, permeate outlet G ½, whereas from 1000 l/h upward the inlet is already G 1.

The system operates at pressures up to 2.0 MPa with full process automation: a control unit with indication shuts down the unit on pressure and conductivity faults, and the pump is protected against dry running. Separate CIP wash inlet and outlet G ½ are provided for membrane flushing; the flushing flow rate is not more than 4000 l/h.
