SWT ROB 15 reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump (up to 15 m3/h)

SWT ROB 15 is a commercial reverse osmosis unit with a pump, capacity up to 15 m³/h. Systems in the ROB series are intended for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as effluent treatment (purification degree up to 99.5 %), with the water subsequently used as drinking water or for process needs. The system is designed for a raw water salinity of 4000 mg/l and a temperature of 10 °C; the typical conversion rate for fresh-type groundwater and surface water is from 50 % to 65 % (permeate-to-concentrate ratio from 1:1 to 2:1).

This is one of the top models in the line-up: only ROB 20 and ROB 21 are more productive, while it exceeds the popular ROB 6 and ROB 7.5 by two and a half times and twofold respectively, and the entry-level ROB 1.5 is ten times smaller. Within the series, all other parameters — raw water salinity, pressure, conversion rate, automation composition — are the same, so ROB 15 is chosen for a permeate flow of around 15 m³/h without moving up to the 20-cubic-meter models.

The systems operate at high pressure (up to 2.1 MPa) with full process automation: a control unit with indication and shutdown on pressure and conductivity faults, and the pump is protected against "dry running". Commissioning and maintenance require qualified personnel. At the customer's request, the unit can be equipped with additional equipment, including in block-modular design.
