SWT ROB-1000L (6/4040-1W) reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump

The SWT ROB-1000L commercial reverse osmosis unit is intended for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as for effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5% — the permeate is used for drinking or process needs. The typical conversion rate for brackish-type groundwater and surface water is up to 65 %, and for fresh-type water — up to 85%. Rated capacity is 1000 l/h, with a raw water flow rate of 1700 l/h in operating mode and 2380 l/h during flushing.

In the ROB line-up this is an upper-mid model: twice the capacity of ROB-500L (3/4040) and below the larger ROB-1300L (8/4040) with its 1300 l/h. Compared with the smaller ROB-350L, ROB-500L and ROB-700L, it has a centrifugal 3 kW pump instead of 2.2 kW and larger connections — raw water inlet and concentrate outlet G1" versus ¾", permeate outlet G¾". The index 6/4040-1W means six 4040 membrane elements in a single-element design (4120 series); at the same capacity, the series also offers a two-seat variant 6/4040-2W, which differs in the layout of the membrane housings and the flushing flow rate.

Mechanical pre-treatment is built on a BB20 cartridge — the same size used in ROB-700L and ROB-1300L, whereas ROB-350L and ROB-500L use BB10.
