SWT ROB 3 reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump (up to 3 m3/h)

SWT ROB 3 is an industrial reverse osmosis unit with a capacity of 3 m³/h (3000 l/h), built on two-element 8220-series housings. It is intended for deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as for effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5%, for the water to subsequently be used as drinking water or for process needs. The typical conversion rate for fresh-type groundwater and surface water is from 50% to 65%, so the water source and discharge line are sized for a flow rate of 4-6 m³/h in operating mode and up to 6 m³/h during flushing.

Compared with the smaller ROB 1.5 and ROB 2,25, this model has a longer frame — 2700×950×1800 mm versus 1700×800×1800 mm — a pump not exceeding 11 kW instead of 7.5 kW, and two BB20 mechanical cleaning cartridges instead of one. Within its size class, ROB 3 is the smallest and lightest: with the same frame and pump, ROB 3.75 weighs 400 kg / 550 kg and ROB 4.5 weighs 450 kg / 600 kg, whereas here it is 330 kg / 480 kg. Connections also match ROB 3.75: water inlet and concentrate outlet 1½", permeate outlet 1¼"; the permeate outlet enlarged to 1½" appears only from ROB 4,5.

Connections use G thread, and mechanical pre-treatment is handled by replaceable BB20 cartridges — their size is worth accounting for in the on-site consumables stock.
