Reverse osmosis up to 21 m³/h for brackish water, purification up to 99.5%
SWT ROB 21 is a reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with a pump, capacity up to 21 m³/h. Its task is deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5%, for the water to subsequently be used as drinking water or for process needs. The system is designed for a raw water salinity of 4000 mg/l and a temperature of 10 °C; the typical conversion rate for fresh-type groundwater and surface water is from 50% to 65%, with a permeate-to-concentrate ratio from 1:1 to 2:1.
In the ROB series, this is the top model: next by capacity come ROB 20 and ROB 15, and of the models with complete datasheet figures, the closest is ROB 11,25, with a capacity of 11.25 m³/h, a pump not exceeding 18.5 kW, a 3700×1000×1800 mm frame, and four CF cartridges. For ROB 21, check the dimensions, weight, and connection sizes for your specific project.
The systems operate at high pressure (up to 2.1 MPa) with full process automation. A control unit with indication shuts down the unit on pressure and conductivity faults, and the pump is protected against "dry running". Commissioning and maintenance require qualified personnel. At the customer's request, the system can be manufactured and equipped with additional equipment, including in block-modular design.
