SWT ROB 4.5 reverse osmosis unit for brackish water with pump (up to 4.5 m3/h)

SWT ROB 4.5 is an industrial reverse osmosis unit with a capacity of 4.5 m³/h (4500 l/h) on two-element 8220-series housings. Its purpose is the same as the other models in the line-up: deep purification and desalination of brackish water from coastal marine areas and wells, as well as effluent treatment with a purification degree of up to 99.5%, for the water to subsequently be used as drinking water or for process needs. The typical conversion rate for fresh-type groundwater and surface water is from 50% to 65%, with a raw water flow rate in operating mode of 6-8 m³/h, and up to 8 m³/h during flushing.

This is the top model of the 2700×950×1800 mm size class with a pump not exceeding 11 kW: the same frame and the same pump are found in ROB 3 and ROB 3,75, but here mechanical pre-treatment has switched to CF cartridges (2 pcs.) instead of BB20, and the permeate outlet has been enlarged to 1½" — matching the size of the water inlet and concentrate outlet, whereas in both smaller models it is 1¼". The weight, 450 kg / 600 kg, is the largest in the group. The next model up by capacity, ROB 6, already requires a different footprint and power supply: a 3700×1000×1800 mm frame and a pump not exceeding 15 kW.

Connections use G thread. The switch to CF cartridges changes the range of consumables relative to the smaller models in the series — this is worth accounting for if BB20-based units are already in operation on site.
