SWT RO-5/8040 - reverse osmosis unit with pump (up to 5 m3/h)

SWT RO-5/8040 is an industrial reverse osmosis unit with a capacity of up to 5 m³/h, in the single-housing design of the 8114 series. It demineralizes fresh water to a degree of purification of up to 99%, removing heavy metals, microbes, bacteria, and organic and inorganic compounds; typical conversion rate for underground and surface fresh water is up to 75%. Feed water flow rate in operating mode is 8.07 m³/h, in flush mode 8.5 m³/h.

In terms of footprint, RO-5 remains a compact model in the line: dimensions 1700×965×1800 ± 50 mm — the same as the smaller RO-1 at 1 m³/h, whereas RO-9 and RO-15 are built in a three-element housing 3700 mm wide. The pump, meanwhile, is 4 kW — the same as RO-3 and less than the 5.5 kW of the neighboring RO-4. The mechanical stage is made up of two BB20-format filters rather than the CF multi-cartridge filters fitted in the single-element version of RO-4 and further up the series on RO-6 and RO-8. The connections are larger than in the smaller models: the feed water inlet and concentrate outlet are G1½" external thread, the permeate outlet is G1¼" external thread.

A separate connection to the CIP wash G3/4" is provided — chemical membrane washing is included as standard. Shipping dimensions are 1860×1150×2000±50 mm: these are used to plan bringing the unit to its site and passage through openings.
