SWT RO-8/8040 - reverse osmosis unit with pump (up to 8 m3/h)

SWT RO-8/8040 is an industrial reverse osmosis system with a capacity of 8 m³/h for demineralizing fresh water to a degree of purification of up to 99%. The unit removes heavy metals, microbes and bacteria, and organic and inorganic compounds; typical conversion rate on underground and surface fresh water is up to 75%. In operating mode the water flow rate is 12.1 m³/h, in flush mode 24 m³/h.

This model is supplied only in the two-element version of the 8211 series and sits at the upper edge of the "single- and two-element" segment of the line: the smallest RO-1 gets by with one housing, a pump up to 3 kW, and one Big Blue BB20 filter at 1 m³/h; RO-6 runs at 5.5 kW; and the next models, RO-9 and RO-15, are already three-element, with pumps up to 7.5 and up to 11 kW and weights of 650 and 950 kg. RO-8 has five CF multi-cartridge filters and a pump up to 7.5 kW, feed water inlet G1½", concentrate outlet G1¼", permeate outlet G1¼" — by connections it is larger than RO-6 with its G1" inlet, but smaller than RO-10 with its G2" inlet and seven CF filters.

Operation is fully automated: a freely programmable controller allows parameters to be changed and displays data on screen.
