SWT RO-6/8040 - reverse osmosis unit with pump (up to 6 m3/h)

SWT RO-6/8040 is an industrial reverse osmosis system with a capacity of 6 m³/h. Units in the RO series are designed for demineralizing fresh water to a degree of purification of up to 99%, removing heavy metals, microbes, bacteria, and organic and inorganic compounds. Typical conversion rate for underground and surface fresh water is up to 75%.

In the line, this is the middle of the range, and it differs from its nearest neighbors in the combination of drive and pre-treatment. The 5.5 kW pump here is the same as on RO-4, but the water flow rate in operating mode is higher — 8.8 m³/h versus 6.8 m³/h; RO-5 makes do with a 4 kW pump, while RO-8 already needs up to 7.5 kW at a flow rate of 12.1 m³/h. The mechanical pre-treatment is built on five CF multi-cartridge filters — the same as on the larger RO-8 and RO-12, while the smaller designs in the range use Big Blue cartridges. RO-6 is also available in two versions: a two-seat one (series 8211) with a G1" feed water inlet, a G1" concentrate outlet, and a G1¼" permeate outlet, and a triple one (series 8311) with G1½", G1¼", and G1½" connections respectively; the water flow rate in operating mode for the triple version is given as 8-12 m³/h, and flushing is 12 m³/h for both.

System operation is fully automated. Control is handled by a freely programmable controller with the ability to change parameters and display data on the controller's screen.
