SWT RO-1250L (5/4040) - reverse osmosis unit with pump (up to 1.25 m3/h)

SWT RO-1250L is a commercial reverse osmosis unit on five 4040 membrane housings, with a nominal capacity of 1250 l/h. Its task is deep polishing treatment of domestic drinking water and natural water: reducing total mineralization and removing hardness salts, heavy metals, organic matter, bacteria, and viruses. Typical conversion rate for fresh water is up to 75%, feed water flow rate in production mode is 1950 l/h.

In the SWT RO range, this is the top model that still uses a 1.5 kW pump: starting with RO-1500L, a 2.2 kW pump is fitted. The same boundary applies to the connection sizes — the raw water inlet and concentrate outlet here are still G¾", while on RO-1500L and larger they are widened to G1". The model differs from the nearest smaller RO-1000L by a fifth housing and a gain of 250 l/h, a G¾" CIP wash inlet instead of G½", and a dry weight of 160 kg versus 140 kg with the same 610×585×1630 mm dimensions.

Membrane servicing consists of hydraulic flushing at a flow rate of 4400 l/h and chemical CIP washing through a separate inlet. Mechanical pre-treatment is done with a replaceable BB20-size cartridge, as in most models of the series.
