Aquapro UV-60GPM-HTM UV sterilizer (12 m3/h)

The AQUAPRO UV-60GPM-HTM ultraviolet sterilizer, with a capacity of 12000 l/h, is designed to disinfect water with UV radiation. The unit's disinfecting action relies on the ability of ultraviolet radiation in the 250-260 nm range to actively destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms often present in water. By capacity, the model sits between UV-48GPM at 10 m³/h and UV-72GPM at 16 m³/h. The design is horizontal, with a stand: electronic ballasts controlling the ignition of the quartz lamps are mounted inside the stand housing. Compared with the UV-60GPM-HT version of the same capacity, this model differs by additional equipment — an operating hours counter and a UV radiation intensity sensor.

The counter is needed to replace the quartz lamps based on hours run, not at random: after about 9000 hours of effective operation, the radiation output starts to decline. The intensity sensor with an analog gauge gives a second assessment, no longer by time but by fact — it shows the actual output the lamps deliver right now. Together they allow the unit to be serviced based on lamp condition.
