Aquapro UV-12GPM-HT UV sterilizer (2.5 m3/h)

The Aquapro UV-12GPM-HT ultraviolet sterilizer disinfects water with ultraviolet radiation at a capacity of 2500 l/h. The disinfecting action relies on the ability of UV radiation in the 250-260 nm range to actively destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms often present in water. The connection is 3/4", a single quartz lamp rated at 39 W operates in the chamber, and the lower limit of the water operating temperature is 2°C.

The HT design is horizontal, with a stand: electronic ballasts controlling the ignition of the quartz lamps are mounted inside its housing. Compared with UV-12GPM-H at the same capacity of 2500 l/h, this model differs by an operating hours counter — it shows how long the unit has run and lets the emitting lamps be replaced in time. The quartz lamp effective service life is about 9000 hours, after which their radiation output starts to decline. Higher-capacity models in the range are built on the same scheme but with several lamps: UV-24GPM-HT at 5000 l/h carries two, UV-48GPM-HT at 10000 l/h — four.

Unit weight — 10 kg, it is installed horizontally on its own stand. Maintenance comes down to replacing the quartz lamp according to the operating hours counter readings.
