Aquapro UV-72GPM-HTM UV sterilizer (up to 16 m3/h)

The Aquapro UV-72GPM-HTM ultraviolet sterilizer, with a capacity of 16000 l/h, disinfects water with ultraviolet radiation. Disinfection relies on the ability of radiation in the 250-260 nm range to destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms often present in water. The connection is a 2" flange, as in the larger units of the section.

The model is made in a horizontal design with a stand: electronic ballasts controlling the ignition of the quartz lamps are mounted inside the stand housing. Compared with UV-72GPM-HT, rated for the same flow rate, this version differs by two additional options — an operating hours counter and a UV radiation intensity sensor. By capacity, the 72GPM pair is the top of the line: UV-60GPM-HT has 12000 l/h, UV-48GPM-HT — 10000 l/h.

The counter shows how many hours the equipment has run and ties lamp replacement to actual usage: the quartz lamp effective service life is about 9000 hours, after which their radiation output starts to decline. The intensity sensor allows the UV radiation output to be assessed visually, from the analog gauge readings, and its decline to be noticed before it affects disinfection quality.
