Aquapro UV-24GPM-HTM UV sterilizer (5 m3/h)

The Aquapro UV-24GPM-HTM ultraviolet sterilizer, with a capacity of 5000 l/h, is designed to disinfect water with UV radiation. The disinfecting action relies on the ability of ultraviolet radiation in the 250-260 nm range to actively destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms often present in water.

In the Aquapro range of UV sterilizers, the suffix letter denotes equipment, not capacity: for UV-24GPM-HTM it is the same as for UV-24GPM-HT — 5000 l/h — but this model is additionally fitted with an operating hours counter and a UV radiation intensity sensor. The design is horizontal, with a stand: electronic ballasts controlling the ignition of the quartz lamps are mounted inside the stand housing. By capacity, the model sits in the middle of the range — above UV-12GPM (2.5 m³/h) and below UV-36GPM (7 m³/h).

The operating hours counter shows how many hours the equipment has run and helps replace the emitting quartz lamps in time: their effective service life is about 9000 hours, after which the radiation output starts to decline. The intensity sensor displays the UV radiation output on an analog gauge, so any drop in output is visible without disassembling the unit.
