Aquapro UV-48GPM-HTM UV sterilizer (10 m3/h)

The AQUAPRO UV-48GPM-HTM ultraviolet sterilizer, with a capacity of 10000 l/h, is designed to disinfect water with UV radiation. The unit's disinfecting action relies on the ability of ultraviolet radiation in the 250-260 nm range to actively destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms often present in water. It connects to the pipeline at a 1 1/2" size.

By capacity, this is one of the higher models in the range: UV-36GPM at 7 m³/h sits below it, while UV-60GPM at 12 m³/h and UV-72GPM at 16 m³/h sit above. The design is horizontal, on a stand, with electronic ballasts controlling the ignition of the quartz lamps mounted inside its housing. Compared with the UV-48GPM-HT version of the same capacity, this model differs by additional equipment — an operating hours counter and a UV radiation intensity sensor.

The counter shows how many hours the equipment has run and helps replace the emitting quartz lamps in time: their effective service life is about 9000 hours, after which the radiation output starts to decline. The intensity sensor displays the UV radiation output on an analog gauge, so the current condition of the lamps is assessed visually, without instrumental water monitoring.
