CFP100 chamber filter press

The chamber filter press dewaters sludge using the pressure of the feed pump. Filter cloth is stretched over the plates and, when the pack is compressed, also acts as a seal, so a chamber forms between each pair of plates. Slurry enters through the central channel, filtrate is drained by the plates' drainage channels, and the solid phase remains in the chambers.

The smaller designs in the line are rated for sites with intermittent or small sludge output: local wastewater treatment facilities, individual workshops, wash bays and water treatment areas. Work goes in cycles, so sludge is usually accumulated in a receiving tank and pressed in batches rather than at the rate of inflow.

Moderate weight and a compact frame allow the press to be placed in an existing building, without a dedicated foundation. The site needs a passage along the pack for cake removal and room for a container; piping is limited to slurry and filtrate manifolds with shut-off valves.

CFP100 design: filtration area 100 m², capacity 2–4 t/h, weight 6628 kg, chamber volume 1475 l.

By filtration area it sits between CFP80 (80 m²) and CFP150 (150 m²): 100 m². Capacity 2–4 t/h against 1–1.5 t/h on CFP50. Chamber volume 1475 l against 1210 l on CFP80. Weight 6628 kg against 5082 kg on CFP80.

One step down by filtration area — CFP80: dimensions 5120×1500×1400 mm instead of 5020×1800×1600 mm. One step up — CFP150: dimensions 5990×1800×1600 mm instead of 5020×1800×1600 mm.
