CFP200 chamber filter press

Pressing is carried out under feed pressure: the pack of plates with the stretched cloth is closed, slurry is fed into the central channel, filtrate leaves through the plates' drainage channels, and the solid phase fills the chambers and is discharged when the pack is opened. This arrangement gives cake of low moisture and suits places where the sludge is viscous or heavily watered.

The larger designs are taken for the constant sludge flow of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, mineral processing plants, chemical and food production, where the cycle is repeated round the clock.

The weight and length of the pack require a prepared base and spare room in the passages along the frame, while cake discharge is tied to a conveyor or a hopper under the press. Piping and the feed pump are selected for long-running operation, and the cloth for the nature of the sludge: polypropylene multifilament, mono-multifilament, or monofilament.

CFP200 design: filtration area 200 m², capacity 4–5 t/h, weight 13504 kg, chamber volume 2896 l.

By filtration area it sits between CFP150 (150 m²) and CFP250 (250 m²): 200 m². Capacity 4–5 t/h against 3–5 t/h on CFP150. Chamber volume 2896 l against 3650 l on CFP250. Weight 13504 kg against 16227 kg on CFP250.

One step down by filtration area — CFP150: dimensions 5990×1800×1600 mm instead of 7360×1800×1600 mm. One step up — CFP250: dimensions 8600×1800×1600 mm instead of 7360×1800×1600 mm.
