The larger FP designs are rated for round-the-clock operation with high sludge flows. A wide belt spreads the same sludge flow in a thinner layer, so the required cake output is reached without speeding the belt up, and wear on the belt and rollers stays moderate.
The SUS304 or SUS316 stainless steel frame and pneumatic belt tensioning are rated for continuous load; the low-speed drive keeps power consumption and noise moderate, and the package includes safety sensors and an emergency stop.
Such machines are installed at large municipal wastewater treatment plants and in continuous production — petrochemicals, leather tanning, treatment of manure runoff. A stable result requires an even sludge feed and a constant flocculant dose: a drop in feed shows up immediately in cake moisture.
FP 2500B design: capacity by dry solids 470–550 kg/h, drive power 1.5 kW, working belt width 2500 mm, water flow rate 25.2 m³/h.
By water flow rate it sits between FP 2500A (24.1 m³/h) and FP 3000 (28.8 m³/h): 25.2 m³/h. Capacity by dry solids 470–550 kg/h — the same as on FP 2500A. Drive power 1.5 kW — the same as on FP 2500A and FP 3000. Working belt width 2500 mm — the same as on FP 2500A.
