FP 1000A, capacity by dry solids 200–203 kg/h
The FP belt filter press squeezes sludge between two permeable belts. First, free moisture drains off by gravity in the gravity drainage section, then the belt with the sludge passes over a system of rollers and the pressure on the layer builds up gradually.
A narrow belt sets a small throughput and a compact frame, so the designs in this subgroup are installed where dewatering is given not a dedicated hall but a corner of a room: local treatment facilities, separate production areas, farms.
Operation here is more often per-shift rather than round-the-clock: sludge accumulates slowly, and the press is started as it builds up. Requirements for sludge conditioning do not depend on belt width — flocculant is prepared and dosed the same way as on the larger designs.
FP 1000A design: capacity by dry solids 200–203 kg/h, drive power 1.1 kW, working belt width 1000 mm, water flow rate 11.2 m³/h.
By capacity by dry solids it sits between FP 500 (100–120 kg/h) and FP 1500A (300–360 kg/h): 200–203 kg/h. Water flow rate 11.2 m³/h against 16 m³/h on FP 1500A. Mixer power 0.25 kW — the same as on FP 500. Working belt width 1000 mm against 500 mm on FP 500.
One step down by capacity by dry solids — FP 500: drive power 0.75 kW instead of 1.1 kW, belt speed 1.57–5.51 m/min instead of 1.04–4.5 m/min.
