DAF-30 flotation unit

In the middle of the line, a compressor is part of the unit, and the power of the agitators and the scraper rises step by step: the machine is designed for a steady flow with a high content of fats and suspended solids, not for occasional discharges. The recirculation scheme — part of the treated water is returned to the pressure line — keeps air saturation stable under a changing load.

Typical sites: meat and fish processing, dairy production, food industry enterprises. Here the flotation unit reduces the load on the biological stage and recovers valuable raw material from process water.

From the piping, such units require equalization of the effluent before it is fed in and an organized discharge of flotation sludge: skimming is adjusted to the actual amount of sludge, and operation is automatic, with remote monitoring.

DAF-30 version: capacity 20–30 m³/h, drive power 5.5 kW, dimensions 7000×2100×2000 mm, pressurized water flow rate 10 m³/h.

By capacity it sits between DAF-20 (15–20 m³/h) and DAF-40 (35–40 m³/h): 20–30 m³/h. Pressurized water flow rate 10 m³/h against 8 m³/h on DAF-20. Drive power 5.5 kW — the same as on DAF-20. Compressor power 1.5 kW against 2.2 kW on DAF-40.

One step down by capacity — DAF-20: mixer power 0.55×2 kW instead of 0.75×2 kW, scraper power 0.55 kW instead of 0.75 kW, dimensions 5500×2100×2000 mm instead of 7000×2100×2000 mm. One step up — DAF-40: dimensions 8000×2150×2150 mm instead of 7000×2100×2000 mm.
