DAF-100 flotation unit

The larger designs in the line differ in a third mixing stage and a higher-power drive: reagent preparation is distributed across the chambers, which matters with a variable effluent composition and a high flow of pressurized water.

Such machines take the main flow of a plant — they are installed in petrochemicals, the pulp-and-paper industry, and at municipal wastewater treatment plants. Flotation lifts petroleum products, emulsified oils, and fiber, which gravitational settling handles poorly, or polishes biologically treated water.

For aggressive environments the housing is made of stainless steel; for other conditions — of carbon steel with epoxy coating or with fiberglass lining. A separate pad is allocated for the unit, with supply lines for reagents, compressed air, and recirculation.

DAF-100 version: capacity 95–100 m³/h, drive power 15 kW, dimensions 10000×3000×3000 mm, pressurized water flow rate 50 m³/h.

The largest unit in the line by capacity: 95–100 m³/h against 70–75 m³/h on DAF-75. Pressurized water flow rate 50 m³/h against 35 m³/h on DAF-75. Drive power 15 kW against 12.5 kW on DAF-75. Compressor power 3 kW — the same as on DAF-50.

One step down by capacity — DAF-75: dimensions 9000×3000×3000 mm instead of 10000×3000×3000 mm.
