6386/F112A3 ion exchange unit

Industrial-size ion-exchange unit: water passes through a housing filled with ion-exchange resin, and the ions dissolved in it are replaced by an equivalent amount of ions released by the media. Resin selection sets the specific task — softening, alkalinity reduction (decarbonization), partial or full desalination, nitrate or boron removal. Once the exchange capacity is exhausted, the controls run a regeneration cycle and return the unit to service.

Housings from 24 inches up are fitted with the larger Runxin valves — 2 and 3-inch connections, capacity from 10 to 50 m³/h. This group introduces side-mounted valves: they are set into the housing wall, which simplifies piping for tall columns and servicing from above. Such units are assembled for the specific flow rate and raw water quality, so housing, valve, and media volume are selected together.

Design 6386/F112A3: 63×86″ housing, automatic side-mount Runxin F112A3 valve with water meter, up to 40 m³/h, side mounting. The valve is designed for softening — regeneration of ion-exchange media with reagent solution. Weight 418.65 kg.
