0835/F71B reagent-free filtration unit

The reagent-free filtration unit removes dissolved iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide from water, along with turbidity and color, bringing the water to the required standards. Inside: a fiberglass housing laminated with polyethylene on the inside, an automatic control valve, granular filter media, a supporting gravel layer, and a drainage-distribution system.

The media oxidizes dissolved iron and manganese directly: passing through it, they convert to an insoluble form and precipitate as sediment, which is retained within the media bed. No reagents are needed for this — the accumulated sediment is flushed to drain by backwash, which also restores the filtering capacity of the media. The frequency of backwashing depends on the combined content of iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide in the source water. Housings from 8 to 13 inches are fitted with 3/4″ and 1″ Runxin valves rated up to 4.5 m³/h, all top-mounted.

Design 0835/F71B: 8×35″ housing, automatic Runxin F71B valve, up to 2.0 m³/h, 3/4″ connection, top mounting. The valve is rated for filtration — backwash of the media without reagent. Weight 7.86 kg.

Configuration within the line: vessel size 0835 (8×35″) with control valve Runxin F71B. This is the only unit in the line on vessel size 0835 (8×35″). The same control valve Runxin F71B is fitted on 0817, 0844, 1044, 1035 and others.
