SWT Electrodeionization EDI-P-100L (80-120 l/h)

EDI-P is a series of compact electrodeionization modules for low flow rates: these are the smallest designs in the section, and their capacity is measured in tens and hundreds of liters per hour. Such modules are installed in laboratory and point-of-use water treatment schemes, where high-purity water is needed in a small volume.

The membranes and the ion-exchange resin layers are assembled into a single pack, and the electric field continuously carries the captured ions into the concentrate, so the resin works without chemical regeneration and no reagent handling is required at the module. Like the other designs in the section, EDI-P is intended for water that has passed reverse osmosis.
