SWT Electrodeionization EDI-HP-4.0 (3.2-4.8 m3/h)

The EDI-HP series brings together electrodeionization designs from hundreds of liters per hour to several cubic meters: from 300 l/h on the smallest module to 4.8 m3/h on the largest. Within the section, EDI-HP designs alternate by capacity with EDI-LX designs, so the size next in flow rate often belongs to a different series — in selection, not only the design number is compared, but the series as well.

Like the other EDI modules, the unit operates after reverse osmosis: the electric field continuously transfers the ions retained by the resin through the membranes into the concentrate, the resin regenerates itself, and no reagent handling is required. The design is selected according to the calculated load of the water treatment line.

By capacity it sits between EDI-HP-3.0 (2.4–3.8 m3/h) and EDI-LX-7.0 (3.8–7.8 m3/h): 3.2–4.8 m3/h.
