SWT AP 50-60/D140 aeration pipe

The SWT aeration pipe is designed for pressurized aeration of water in systems for removing iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. It is installed ahead of filters with granular media: the water becomes saturated with oxygen from the air, the dissolved impurities are oxidized, and are then retained by the filter medium.

Air is supplied ahead of the aerator by oil-free compressors, whose operation is controlled by a separate control unit. Both functions — saturating the water with oxygen and separating excess air — are combined in a single device, so this scheme does not need a separate contact column. The size is selected based on the pipe diameter and the flow rate of the line into which the aerator is tapped.

Design with D140 pipe housing (AP 50-60 size). Dimensions (L×W×H) 1640×530×250 mm. Weight 30 kg.
