Pressurized aeration 0844/AS19/MAC01

A small-diameter aeration column is the first iron-removal stage in domestic and small commercial systems: a private house, a guest house, a café, a small workshop. The compressor feeds air directly into the pipeline, the water-air mixture is held in the contact chamber, and the water goes on to the filter with practically no loss of initial pressure.

The narrow housing stands next to the filter in an ordinary utility room — a boiler room, a caisson, a pit — and does not require a separate hall. The column is selected by flow rate and by well yield: the volume of the contact chamber must provide the oxidation time at peak water draw. An air release valve sits on top, removing excess air and the released gases.

Design based on a 8×44″ housing with an AS19 compressor. Weight 16.8 kg.
